SES Tech is a global provider of electrification and intelligent solutions for waterborne transportation. SES Tech’s core R&D team was established in 2011 by Cambridge University Ph.D. holders. Throughout the past decade, we have successfully implemented electrification solutions for more than 309 vessels. Our portfolio spans various vessel types, including ferries, tugboats, research vessels, WTIVs, SOVs, container ships, bulk carriers, tankers, inland cruises, yachts, fishing vessels, and autonomous ships.

SES-Tech has successfully filed 124 patents, including 36 utility models and 22 inventions that have been granted patents. These protected intellectual properties have positioned SES-Tech as a key participant in multiple national research programs. Sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the company plays a pivotal role in the integration of power systems and the development of frequency converters.

SES-Tech provides three cutting-edge power system solutions to clients in the shipbuilding industry: S-DE, S-Shaft, and S-Renewable. These solutions are backed by an impressive track record, with references from over 330 vessels designed for both inner-river and offshore applications.
SES-Tech, a distinguished high-tech enterprise, has achieved ISO9001 quality management system certification through CCS. The company's innovative marine products, including the marine frequency converter (S-Drive), marine propulsion control system (S-PCS), marine battery system (S-Pack), and remote monitoring system (S-Link), have received approval from CCS. Furthermore, the marine frequency converter has also secured type approval from notable IACS members such as BV, RINA, and has been recognized with a EURO mutual recognition type approval.
Boasting a state-of-the-art R&D center in Wuxi, SES-Tech is equipped with a dedicated manufacturing and testing base for marine frequency conversion systems and battery systems, underscoring its commitment to innovation and quality in the marine technology sector.
