SES-Tech  innovatively adopts the variable-speed constant-frequency shaft-belt power generation system of AFE AC shaft belt frequency converter and asynchronous generator, and uses the redundant power of the ship main engine to supply power to the ship load, which effectively improves the ship main engine Operating efficiency. The main feature of the system is variable-speed constant-frequency shaft belt power generation, which breaks the inherent combination of the original shaft belt power generation that needs to be adapted to the variable pitch propeller. This makes the classic hybrid power system of shaft belt power generation expand its application range.

The core AFE AC shaft inverter of the system adopts the variable frequency power module independently researched and developed by SES-Tech and the whole series has been approved by the classification society. It has the advantages of stability and reliability, high power quality, and high cost performance.
