The platform is equipped with two 600 kW at the bow and two 900 kW azimuth rudder propellers at the stern, which are used for the construction of offshore wind farms including base installation, tower, nacelle and blade hoisting.
The wind power installation platform uses a new type of AFE electric propulsion system. Compared with the traditional diode rectification scheme (DFE), the electrical equipment covers an area of about 15.8 m2 and saves about 12 tons of weight. The entire system is more in line with the requirements of the wind power installation platform.
The AFE-type electric propulsion system of this project is equipped with the self-branded marine electric propulsion inverter of SES-Tech, and adopts the core inverter module independently developed and approved by CCS, which breaks the long-term use of marine inverters, especially marine inverter modules. Monopolized by foreign manufacturers.
