On April 7, Zhejiang Ocean University's "zheyuke 2" fishery resources survey ship carried out a trial voyage in Daishan sea area and passed the sea trial acceptance successfully. At the same time, the core electrical system (including frequency converter and motor) of diesel electric hybrid power system designed and supplied by Beijing Silent Electric Technology Co., Ltd. also passed the first maritime mission, fully meeting the technical requirements of the ship owner and meeting the service conditions of the ship.
    In the sea trial, the system has carried out several tests on the working modes of diesel engine single propulsion, all electric propulsion, diesel electric hybrid propulsion and side thruster, and the test results all meet the design expectations. After the trial voyage, the maximum speed of the ship using diesel engine alone (1007 kw) is 15.2 knots, and the average speed is 13.8 knots; the maximum speed of the full electric propulsion mode (220 kw) is 7.3 knots, the average speed is 6.3 knots, the comprehensive energy consumption is reduced by 30% ~ 40%, and the noise is also significantly improved. The advantages of the core electrical system independently developed by our company have been fully verified in the sea trial, and have been highly praised by ship owners and test participants.
   At the same time, another highlight of the core electrical system is that the user can switch between the main propulsion motor and the side thrust motor according to the demand, that is, one inverter can control the main propulsion motor and the side thrust motor respectively. The realization of this function not only saves the budget of a inverter, but also saves a lot of cabin space, which brings practical benefits to users.
