The passenger vessel Yangtze Three Gorges No. 1 is 100 meters long and 16 meters wide. Thanks to the S-Renewable system provided by SES-Tech, the vessel is designed to be supplied by 7618 kWh battery packs. It is regarded to be the world-largest battery-driven vessel and supposed to be fully delivered to the customer in 2021.

       SES-Tech is delivering the whole driving pack, including the S-Renewable system, battery packs, propulsion motors and transformers. With help of the S-Renewable solution, the vessel demonstrates the possibility of zero emission and significant environmental protection due to pure battery operation. It is of great importance to achieve zero pollution in the Three Gorges area where precious ecosystem exists.
