The offshore wind power working platform Huadian Wenqiang is designed to have the length of 120 m, breadth of 38 m, and depth of 6.8 m, having two 600 kW propulsion azimuth thrusters on the bow side and two 900 kW on the stern side.

The S-DE system adopts AFE topology driving the four thrusters. Compared to the DFE counterpart, the AFE solution is more compact that eliminates the heavy transformer.
